Melinda Garcia
I'm Melinda Garcia, and I teach English here at Marsing High School. I grew up on a cattle ranch in the mountains, so small towns always feel like home to me. I earned my B.A. in Writing/Literature from George Fox University, and my Masters in Teacher Education is from Eastern Oregon University. In the classroom, I love teaching students how to boost their creativity and improve their critical thinking. In my personal life, I love thrifting, yoga, cooking, gardening, watching my boys play soccer, and traveling to other countries.
